Selena Gomez, an actress and a singer with a huge following internationally. Her involvement has included many projects, but the Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place has been the most successful. Selena Marie Gomez has a full name. The full title is Selena Marie. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were her parents. Her mother was barely 16 at the time Selena became a mother. When she was just 9 years old Selena was able to make her first role on the stage when she played Gianna on Barney and her Friends. Thus she became one of the children who performed with the most well-known historical anthropomorphic dinosaur, the purple one. Selena was a part of several episodes from season 7 and 8 from 2001 and 2003. It's a great fact that Selena isn't the only performer to have appeared on Barney as well as his Friends during this period; Demi Lovato also was part of the team that starred in the series. Selena Gomez tried out for several roles after she left Barney and his Friends, but was not successful. In 2003, she had one small role Mini Spies 3: (Spy Kids 3D: Game Over) as well as on Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire as Julie. Additionally, in 2006 she was Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. In this role, she wrote a song.
