Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for a number of years. Most famously, he is famous for his roles performed in "Law and the Special Victims Unit". He discovered his love for acting from his days in college and studied acting in The University of Colorado at Boulder. He's appeared in the television and film industry, but it was his small-screen characters which gained him fame as well as an extensive audience. His ability to play characters on both sides of law is what has caught the attention of audiences. His first television production, he played a serial murderer. In later projects, he was the character of an NYPD investigator. The small screen performances of his were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The most striking of his face features is thought to have been the piercing blue eye that has allowed him to portray characters who appear rough and fascinating. The year 2006 was the last time he was included in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
